Sa présence dans les produits cosmétiques empêche les huiles sensibles de rancir et assure une durée de vie plus longue. 100% naturel, ce produit a des propriétés anti-inflammatoire et est souvent utilisé comme ingrédient anti-âge. Il peut être ajouté aux baumes, beurres et huiles et de bien mélanger le tout. Pourcentage recommandé : (d’après la totalité des huiles à conserver) de 0,05 à 0,8% en tant qu’agent conservateur Ajouter le tocophérol aux émulsions déjà préparées et froides, et mélanger soigneusement le tout.
