Calma, une solution proche de l’allaitement au sein L’embout Calma de Medela représente une solution de substitution à l’allaitement au sein pour les mères qui souhaitent nourrir leur bébé au lait maternel avec un biberon. Elle a été développée en collaboration avec des experts de l’allaitement, faisant partie du groupe de recherche sur la lactation humaine dirigé par le professeur Hartmann, de l’Université d’Australie occidentale. Avec Calma, votre bébé peut sucer, déglutir et respirer exactement comme il le ferait au sein : il peut boire le lait, faire une pause et respirer selon son rythme naturel, comme lorsqu’il tète au sein, en restant détendu et serein. Tout comme au sein, il doit créer un vide pour que le lait commence à couler. Il peut conserver son comportement de succion naturel, ce qui simplifie la transition entre l’allaitement au sein et l’utilisation de Calma (et inversement).
